Below are some examples of my portrait painting style.  On the left is the photograph I used as my starting point.

If you wish to attend portrait painting sessions, your chosen photographs should be no larger than 5" X 7" to be projected onto your canvas.  For a head and shoulders portrait, your canvas should be between 12 X 16 and 16 X 20.  If you are intending to paint a full body, or an elaborate background, a larger canvas is needed.
